PROMO: Pick of the week!
Here's a bumper post with the hottest promos we received this week. Some good stuff here. Enjoy!
Bit Crushers - Wanna Ride (Original Mix)
DJ Fame and Gaby Dershin produced this one for promo only and it's well worth checking out. They've also made a great electro mix you can also download for free here.
Bit Crushers - Wanna Ride (DJ Fame Remix)
This one is much more accessible for those not so into electro. Still retaining its quirkiness DJ Fame managed to raise the bar for this one.
Mark Bale - Tabaka (Original Mix)
Nellie Recordings are putting out some quality tunes at the moment and Mark Bale is testament to that. This early hours progressive track hit download stores last week.
Mark Bale - Happy Tears (Original Mix)
The break is so epic you'll have your arms in the air while listening to this on the bus. Well perhaps not, but you won't be able to resist doing it in the clubs!
Mark Mendes - Anzu (Original Mix)
He's only 19 but isn't wasting any time producing quality tracks. Anzu is a deep progressive tune that would be great for nearer the end of a night.
Mark Mendes - La Boom (Original Mix)
Showing he's just as capable of producing tech-house La Boom is of the same high standard.
Hypnotic Hour - Sleepy (Topo & LMK Remix)
This one wouldn't sound out of place warming up for a Sander van Doorn set.
Kocky feat. Noonie Bao - Prison Break (Adrian Lux Remix)
More progressive house, this time with accompanying vocals from Noonie Bao. Expect to hear some big DJs playing this.

Royksopp - Happy Up Here (Boys Noize Remix)
Prepare to be disturbed. Having recently celebrated their 10th birthday the Norwegian duo, Torbjorn Brundtland and Svein Berge released Happy Up Here last month. It has since set radio airwaves alive with its feel-good nature and seemingly innocent naivety. In the mean time the German, Alexander Ridha aka Boys Noize has flipped this one on its head as he so often does. A release date hasn't yet been announced.

Natalie Konan & Kim Jofferey - Take Me There (Chris Kaeser Remix)
The internationally acclaimed French DJ and label owner, Chris Kaeser gave the original more of a polish than a remix, but subtlety isn't a bad thing and Take Me There is a prime example. Suitable for both serious and commercial clubs, this tune has already proved a hit while supported by Axwell, Laidback Luke, and Laurent Wolf. Chris tours Australia this month and Miami, Florida in March.

Pryda - Animal / Loaded
Eric Prydz returns this week under his Pryda moniker with the release of Pryda 013 (available to download from 18th February and on vinyl a week later). Loaded is a minimal-influenced affair with floating pads and some interesting percussion, but it's Animal that's garnered the most attention recently, with Pete Tong championing the tune in the clubs. Stuttery synths and chunky beats create an electro monster, making this a genuine contender in any DJ's box.

GUEST MIX: Stereoheroes
One of France's hottest electro DJ's at the moment, Stereoheroes sent us this exclusive mix for Best of House. Unfortunately it's not entirely 'exclusive' any more since they also posted it on their MySpace, but take our words for it - It was mixed for you guys!
Back on track, the duo from the 'dirty south' of France have had a phenomenal rise in the electro scene over the last two years. Originally two single producers, the team got together to make some tunes, sent them to blogs and ended up signing their tracks to some big labels. Their productions aren't easy to categorise but they say they're somewhere along the lines of 'super comic electro-crunk'.
Not only do the pair write floor-filling party tunes but they have DJ'd around the world from Paris to Sydney bringing their addictive sound with them. March and April will see them jetting off to spin their magic in Canada and America respectively.
This mix is absolutely entertaining from start to finish and we're proud to say it was made for you guys. Be sure to check out their MySpace. If you're into your electro you're going to be hearing a lot more of Stereoheroes! Enjoy.

Reflekt Feat. Delline Bass - Need To Feel Loved (Adam K & Soha Mix)
It was only a matter of time until this one made it on to the front page. Feflekt (Seb Fontaine & Julian Peake) released the original in 2004 before the tune became synonymous with the cult film, It's All Gone Pete Tong. Now Toronto boys Adam K and Soha Radjpoust have turned the original trance anthem into a progressive floor-filler of epic proportions. Adam K has hinted the single is likely to drop around March so until then here's the video featuring 'that' DJ, Frankie Wilde.

The Sunday Sampler: Eddie Murphy / Sharam
The Sunday Sampler embarks on another monthly escapade, this time focusing on the multi-talented stand-up comedian and actor Eddie Murphy. It's probably quite accurate to say not a lot of people really appreciated his singing career though, let alone really knew he even had one. Here he is with his only major hit, from 1985, Party All The Time.
Roll onto 2006, and one half of Deep Dish, Sharam Tayebi (or just Sharam) compressed the title down to just PATT, and further compressed Murphy's vocal talents into a monster house tune. Enjoy!
